2.1.3 Fees Waivers. A waiver is an action exempting an individual or institution from the application of a specific regulation. A waiver requires a formal approval based on evidence of compliance with the specified conditions or criteria under which the waiver is authorized. The Finance Committee shall have the authority to waive Individual Registration or Team Fees based on an official request submitted to the Finance Committee through the USCSA National Office. Teams and Institutions that request waivers from fees MUST contact the USCSA National Office by sending an email to email@example.com with “Waiver Request” in the subject line BEFORE registering for the 19-20 season. Reference the USCSA Competition & Rules for more information on current registration costs.
Discipline Fee Waiver: New Teams
New Teams at member institutions of the USCSA can request a waiver from Discipline Fees (Ref. 184.108.40.206) for one year. Teams are considered “new” if they have never registered with the USCSA or have been inactive for a period of 4 years.
Institution Fee Waiver: New Institutions
New Institutions to the USCSA can request a waiver from Institution Fees (Ref. 220.127.116.11) for one year. Institutions are considered “new” if they have never registered with the USCSA or have been inactive for a period of 4 years.
Individuals, Teams or Institutions that have been deemed ineligible to compete because of Academic Eligibility requirements can appeal their status to the Academic Affairs Committee. Appeals MUST be processed by completing the below appeals form with any supporting documentation, sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Academic Affairs Committee will review your appeal and contact you directly with further instructions / information.
